[edit] License tagging for Image:Cerasoides.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Cerasoides.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:05, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- I have deleted the image; the TopTropical website clearly states that the images are not free for commercial use, which they must be if they are to be used on wikipedia. Unfortunately, we have to stick to the copyright laws! - MPF 00:46, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Can you quote the permission for image?
I know the upload guff says you have permission to use the image you placed on Prunus cerasoides which comes from Zimbabwe Flora but it would help if you said how it was obtained. Cheers. Moriori 19:47, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Nonsense article
I deleted Hermaphrotide which you created, because it said "Hermaphrotide: An organism which possesses the reproductive organs of both sexes in the same plant or indivisual" which is obvious nonsense. You then recreated it as a redirect, so I have deleted it yet again. Please do not recreate it or you will be disrupting Wikipedia and liable to be blocked from editing. - I replied to your e-mail but think it prudent to record here that I asked if you are dyslexic. Your e-mail pointed me to a link (http://www.desicca.de/plant_breeding/Dictionary/Dictionary_B/body_dictionary_b.html) which apparently would define hermaphrotide. It didn't, but it defines hermathrodite. Hence my question re dyslexia. Moriori 20:47, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Arden Shakespeare
It was because it wasn't categorised, it certainly looks ok now for notability and categorisation; cheers. Y control 14:11, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
