[edit] Wikimedia Canada

Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 17:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Heads-Up

A heads-up re: Talk: Issa (singer). If you disagree, let's hash out the issue, but since it's article-related, let's discuss the issue on the article's talk page, so no need to respond here or on my talk page. Obliged! — Mike 16:33, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Dan Dugan

Charlie, you added Dan Dugan to the ACT and Sound design pages. You made his name into a redlink to the nonexistent Dan Dugan page. I think he deserves his own page. I don't know his story well enough to write it; do you? Binksternet 17:34, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

On a similar note, I just noticed that there's no page for Automixer. Did one ever exist here? Binksternet (talk) 05:08, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
Not that I know. Feel free - Dan will probably assist since it's absolutely his baby.... Charlie Richmond (talk) 06:21, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Brights

I've removed the category "Brights" as they require an e-mail for your name to be used publicly. I couldn't find a source for the cat either. If you could either e-mail them or tell me where a reliable souce is I'll readd it - thanks. Sophia 09:00, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

I didn't do anything as the few e-mails I had from Paul Geisert indicated that he was none too happy that the category existed at all! I'll put the category back as I have no problem with it and am glad to see it propagate. Sorry for the delay but I was rather upset by being ticked off for creating the cat when I was just trying to advance the cause. Sophia 20:48, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Proposed deletion of Entertainment control

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Entertainment control, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Nothing personal. /Blaxthos ( t / c ) 22:37, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
