Please can you explain why the recent changes to Findon were undone (i.e. removing third public house and indian restaurant etc).

[edit] Bit confused
"There is lots of constructive work to be done. It is not the place however for voicing personal opinions as you did with Lymington, and that has been removed".
Don't understand what you mean by the first sentence.

[edit] Could you help me write this article?
Hello,
I was wondering if you would be willing to help me write either Seikichi_Iha or Shorin-ryu_Shido-kan. Tkjazzer 21:48, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Stane Street at Eartham Woods.JPG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Stane Sreet at Eartham Woods.JPG. The copy called Image:Stane Sreet at Eartham Woods.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 21:01, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:ASK Karate logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. [edit] New Forest
I inadvertently removed the Wilts tags but swiftly reinstated them. I didn't notice if there were Hants ones to be frank, but of course there should be.Paste (talk) 21:26, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion of Henry de Percy, 1st Baron Percy
A tag has been placed on Henry de Percy, 1st Baron Percy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] European Union
Since when has the EU been a LEGAL country? Its not, so dont treat it as one, as much as freedom hating europhiles wish it was.

I never said it was. What has this to do with me? I will revert your fanatical edits unless they are provable though. Thanks for reminding me to check what you are doing. --Charles (talk) 23:15, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
Heres the proof, read the first site result.
Fanaical, at least im loyal to my counry, and not to some twisted notion of a united europe which betrays war vets. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Freedom4korea (talk • contribs) 09:38, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Dorset
As you have answered some of my questions in the discussion page of Dorset, I thought that you may be able to answer this one in that discussion page and correct the article:
If the populations and GVAs of the non-metropolitan county of Dorset and of Poole & Bournemouth are as similar as the article explain, how can the the GVA per person for Dorset be £6,671 and the one for Poole & Bournemouth £15,683? There is a huge difference. If the populations and the GVAs of both areas are similar, the GVAs per person should be similar. There is a mistake somewhere.
Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.30.79.139 (talk) 20:47, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Sorry I cannot help with this. Not stuff I know about.--Charles (talk) 23:31, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Babylon Fortress
No problem. I just uploaded the picture onto WikiCommons. Enjoy! Tentoila (talk) 19:58, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
I actually just added it to Babylon Fortress myself. Hope that's alright. Tentoila (talk) 20:06, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Heck cattle
Aurochs is the singular - and the plural. Also we do not include links in the see also section that are already in the text of the article. Rmhermen (talk) 00:42, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
I stand corrected. Mea culpa. --Charles (talk) 10:14, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Tavistock and Summerhill School
I have removed the only phrase that could possibly be termed 'advert like' from the above article. I'd be grateful if you could review your tag or let me know your concerns. Paste (talk) 20:48, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] I have a better idea
In the article for wheelbarrow, how about I just convert that quote into blockquote format instead, so that the picture size is inconsequential? Then you can reformat or resize the image however you see fit.--Pericles of AthensTalk 21:11, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
I am not sure if that is compatible with the manual of style. Try it and see.--Charles (talk) 21:17, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Chichester (district)
As I said in my note suggesting the merger, it is most unusual to separate the list of parishes like this one. Compare Horsham and Mid Sussex, both of which retain the list; and in particular the three East Sussex districts of Lewes (district), Rother and Wealden The latter are being built up to article length, with much more information than the West Sussex articles - and have two lists! We have to be logical about this: if we leave them as they are, what else can we say on the separate parish list? Peter Shearan (talk) 05:24, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
