[edit] Allamah Shibli Numani
Hi, you redirected Allamah Shibli Numani to Shibli Numani, which do not exist. And your comment on the talk page, "I figured that a merge was not necessary since the other article has substantially more info." suggests that a more comprehensive article exists. I can't find it with a search, so if you know the correct link, feel free to redirect it again. --Dodo bird 14:51, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Arrondissement of Alès
Hi, I see you've put a {{redlinks}} on this and there certainly are quite a few. I feel they serve a purpose in giving a complete administrative structure. The article is one of a series on the 342 Arrondissements of France and there's a project Wikipedia:WikiProject French communes on which I'm making some (slow) progress to turn the links blue. You'd be very welcome over there, if you're interested in that sort of thing! Dlyons493 Talk 22:05, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia survey
Hi. I'm doing a survey of Wikipedia editors as part of a class research project. It's quick, anonymous, and the data will be made available to the Wikipedia community later this month. Would you like to take part? More info here. Thanks! Nonplus 00:28, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hi
Wow what a neat, tidy and optimistic Userpage. Anyway, just wrote to say that I loved your idea of turning the red links into stubs. It's probably a better idea than creating random stubs anyway. Dessydes 14:40, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
I find you to be unhelpful. In fact, when I remake the world, you won't be in it, you backpacking joke.--Islamisbad 22:50, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lawrence
Yeah, I'm a law student at KU, thanks for your help on KJHK. I kinda littered up the history, but now I know, next time I'll make all my edits at once. I think it's looking pretty nice. Thomas B 22:06, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 14:18, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] AmpKS
I listed it for deletion per your comments on the talk page. Admrb♉ltz (t • c • log) 22:25, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hi Again
Hi again. Usepage still looking good, changed a bit though. I thought you'd like to know that for a while now there has been a Wikiproject dedicated to altering the state of red links, it is called Wikipedia:WikiProject Red Link Recovery. Peace out homes. Dessydes 17:21, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Secret Society
I saw your work on KJ and the Wakarusa festival and thought I'd invite you to become a member of the WikiProject Kansas. If interested, simply add your name to the members list on the project page and add the template {{User WPKansas}} to your own user page. NapalmSunday 01:04, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Stanley Clark School AfD
Hi CharacterZero (instantly recognized your username, by the way -- very cool).
I just wanted to drop by to say hi and good job. I actually had the Reggio Emilia approach article opened in another tab and was pondering whether it was relevant to the discussion (the whole derived notability thing, etc.). I guess I got distracted, switched to another virtual machine to test something and completely forget about the article until I saw your edit show up in my watchlist.
I suppose all we have to do now is figure out if this is a case of great minds thinking alike or of fools seldom differing.
Hope you have a great week. Cheers, Seed 2.0 19:57, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, and thanks. I say we treat this as a case of great minds, until proven foolish. It's basically an innocent until proven guilty situation. Agreed? CharacterZero | Speak 01:18, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Catholic American entertainers
Hello. I commented to your suggestion about post-nominations. I agree. It is about time to rid wikipedia of these strange categories and lists. Bulldog123 04:31, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Haskell-Baker Wetlands
I find you to be unhelpful, you backpacking joke. Just kidding (that is one of the strangest lines I've ever seen on a discussion page, see above). Thanks for the heads-up on the NPOV tag. Off the record, I'm not disputing that the SLT would do harm to the environment, I just think that the controversy section is not very neutral. I added my 2 cents on the talk page. And, of course, Go Hawks! PeteJayhawk 13:53, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WP:CVU status
The Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit project is under consideration to be moved to {{inactive}} and/or {{historical}} status. Another proposal is to delete or redirect the project. You have been identified as a project member and your input as to this matter would be welcomed at WT:CVU#Inactive.3F and at the deletion debate. Thank you! [edit] Replaceable fair use Image:John F. Cassidy.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:John F. Cassidy.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use media which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. High on a tree (talk) 01:11, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Asking for help on WiKUpedia project
Hi CharacterZero,
My name is Jarrod and I'm currently working on a project called WiKUpedia, with the goal of providing the one-stop shop for all things KU. We've had a tremendous response from the community since we went live on Sunday but we need help organizing and improving the wiki. We decided to reach out to experienced Wikipedia editors working on the WikiProject: Kansas. I saw that you've improved a few Lawrence articles like KJHK and Wakarusa Wetlands. You can read a little more about our project in a news story in the Lawrence Journal World
Please feel free to take a look around our project and if this sounds like something that interests you, please respond on my talk page or by email. Thank you so much in advance. Jarrodm (talk) 04:09, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
