I purchased this 8cm x 8cm Fluorite Crystal at a rock shop in Kutna Hora, Czech Republic.
According to the serial number it comes from the Blue John Cavern in England.
Throughout the crystal there are Iron Pyrite blooms, some reaching the size of a pea.

We plan to take an image of the crystal in fluorescence soon.

A 1 inch diameter piece of raw Jasper found in an alluvial deposit on my mineral claim.
It is large enough to make a nice polished stone.

These stones are easier to find in the rain, hiking along a logging road. Most road fill is quarried from nearby and summs up what type of rocks you can find in the general area.
