ChampionDante refers to the famous poet's determination to be a party of one. He wanted never to be caught up in taking sides after his many difficulties in the politics of Florence. My interests in religion, politics, poetry and learning make it only natural for me to champion anyone's right to honestly present a reasonably supported position.
Teacher. Researcher. Librarian. Scientist. Barnmucker.
I've lived all over the world and seen a fantastic variety of human endeavors. Yet, I think Wikipedia is one of the great achievements -- simply because the community as a whole (despite occasional bouts of self-serving, misinformation-peddling and territoriality) demonstrates a noble aspiration to share what it has learned. Let's roll.
