- Sometimes people like to know this.
- I have taught myself several languages to a high level.
- I have a BA in Modern Languages (French & Spanish) from the University of Bradford.
- I have the Trinity College London certificate in TESOL.
- I have a certificate in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, from International House Barcelona / University of Barcelona.
- I know a huge amount about linguistics.
- I am a professional translator (French/Italian/Spanish/Catalan → English)
- I also studied for a degree in Chinese at Bordeaux University, but unfortunately had to drop out for work reasons.
- I have lived and worked in London, Paris, Milan, Bordeaux and Saragossa. I currently live in Valencia. I shall be moving to Australia soon, and to China in a year or so.

I believe Wikipedia should have more illustrations.
I also don't like crappy little pictures. I like to be able to click on an interesting thumbnail and see a gloriously detailed image complete with extra information.
I'm not happy with the number and quality of my images, but there is not much I can do about it because I don't actually have a camera. All the pictures taken by me were made with my crappy little webcam or borrowed cameras. Feel free to contribute to the Chameleon camera fund. I take PayPal.
These images have various copyright notices for practical reasons, however I don't actually believe in intellectual or any other kind of property per se, so feel free to use them and everything else in this world for any purpose that does not harm others.
Feel free to nominate them at Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates, or to leave a comment saying that they are a load of crap.
This is a complete list of all the images that I have uploaded, except for other people's images that I have downloaded and then re-uploaded after optimising or cropping them, and perhaps renaming them. I've lost track of all those. I've also lost track of the images I've had deleted.
