Chad.big.afro is Caradoc Llewellyn Ap David Gething, born 9th February, 1976 on a farm near Mazabuka in Zambia. His father, David John Gething, was a veterinary surgeon and his mother, Beitha Gething, was a poultry farmer.
At the age of 6 months, Caradoc and his family settled in the United Kingdom, quickly coming to reside in the West Dorset village of Broadwindsor. Caradoc attended primary school in Broadwinsor, secondary school in the nearby town of Beaminster and then Exeter University.
Caradoc attended St Luke's School of Education at Exeter University, where he accquired the nickname "Chad". After beng St Luke's Hall President, Chair of Hall Presindents and South West Area National Union of Students (SWANUS) Racial and Ethnic Rights Officer, he was forced to leave University through ill health, having fallen victim of a post-viral fatigue disorder.
Caradoc now teaches in Special Education, where he specialises in Autistic Spectrum Disorders and challenging behaviour. He is a TeamTeach tutor.
Socially, Caradoc has played many sports at club or county representative level. Currently, he is an instructor at a small archery club and also a member of Newham Archers, affiliated to GNAS.
