[edit] Unhelpful edits

Edits by ip address 65.9.234.169 included a link (financial astrology) which is unrelated to the MTA or CMT see here, and no explanation of the removal of Kotick quotation. --Rgfolsom 15:11, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Removed sponsorship requirement and added back financial planners

I removed the sponsorship requirement, because that is a requirement to become an MTA member. To receive the CMT, you must be an MTA member, the the sponsorship need is indirect. First, you become an MTA member, then you receive your CMT designation. More often than not, this occurs at the same time, but the sponsorship is a membership requirement, and membership is required for CMT.

I put back the item regarding financial planners and advisers. One of the largest designations held by MTA members and affiliates, is the CFA. There are many RIAs that hold CMTs as well. It does not make sense to remove this item. Sposer 15:38, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
