Why is the man so secretive about his work, and appears to shy away from major advertising? British point of view, he maybe more famous in other parts of the world.

He's an artist, that's really all that matters. How he acts is not any of your concern. It's his work that should have attention paid to it. Cpesacreta

I'm removing the Spam tag, as an artist with who has had work displayed in galleries and been featured in reviews, he has more than earned a spot on Wikipedia. People do wish to find out who he is especially since he's so secretive compared to his work.
