[edit] Improper cut and paste of copyrighted material?

A large section of this article (from "Charlie Mariano's career can easily be divided..." to "... Leo and Calig among others." is apparently quoted verbatim from Scott Yanow's article at allmusic.com (http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:z7d2vwzva9xk~T0) I assume this is not proper Wikipedia etiquette but am not sure of the exact rules regarding such long quotes from external sources. I note it here and hope some Wikipedia editor with more experience can determine what appropriate actions (if any) should be taken. Pugetbill (talk) 15:23, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Upon further reading (esp. Wikipedia:Copyright violations#Dealing with copyright violations, "...If some, but not all, of the content of a page appears to be a copyright infringement, then the infringing content should be removed, and a note to that effect should be made on the discussion page,...") I decided to remove the Scott Yanow "quote" from the article. The text removed was the complete Charlie Mariano "Biography" at allmusic.com http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:wifrxqy5ld6e~T1 Pugetbill (talk) 23:16, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
