[edit] radio evangelist?

Perhaps this should be moved to Charles Stanley (evangelist), considering I'm watching him on TV (on his regular show) as I write this... --Steven Fisher 02:37, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Yes, he has a television broadcast as well, so the move is appropriate. JungleCat Shiny!/Oohhh! 16:15, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
With all due respect, neither name is very accurate. An "evangelist" is primarily concerned with proclaiming the Gospel to those who have not heard it, like Billy Graham or Luis Palau. Dr. Stanley is a pastor with a multimedia ministry that does reach out to nonbelievers, but is largely aimed at building up, encouraging, and discipling those who are already Christians. ~ MD Otley (talk) 22:17, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Seeing no objections in over three months, I went ahead and made the move to Charles Stanley (pastor). ~ MD Otley (talk) 04:31, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
