I don't think we can make the case that Bernice was heir to the throne, since she declined to marry Prince Lot and also declined his offer of succession. So I changed that and simply noted she was a Kamehameha descendant. Also, since Bishop's reputation does not stand on his marriage to her, I moved that to the end of the paragraph when I expanded the article. Softlavender (talk) 08:41, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
