Why would a former police chief need to undergo training to become a police officer? 172.147.130.246 17:59, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

The Honolulu Police Department has a policy against allowing lateral rank transfers from outside departments. Anyone who joins the Honolulu Police Department must start as a recruit.

The real unanswered question is why Charles Moose would run so far away from the police department in Maryland that he formerly headed. Kepiblanc 19:53, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
