[edit] Need research help

I shamelessly lifted much of the basic biographical sketch from Cornell Maritime Press. Until someone can collect more detailed information on Mr. Geer, that will have to do. As a book illustrator, he usually gets second billing or no billing on dust jackets. Are there any Wikipedians out there who may know the illustrator in person, or know how to get in contact with him for an interview? If he served in World War II, he must be getting on in years, and time is running out. Quicksilver 18:59, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
