"Charles Francis Stein" is the name used for the person in this article as well as the name used when referring to this person in other articles in the category of Heraldry, which seems to the be area of chief importance to persons examining the entry concerning this person; moreover, it is the name under which he published. I moved this page from [[Charles Stein] to here since there are several other persons known as Charles Stein who are arguably more prominent in the public mind (Charles Stein, columnist for the Boston Globe; Charles Jay Stein, Musician; Charles Stein, statistician and inventor of Stein's lemma and Stein's example; Charles Stein, the American poet), and since this allows the distinction of Charles Francis Stein, II. It is clear (although difficult to prove outright) from a Google search of <Charles Stein> that since the only references in the top 100 to the man whose given name is Charles Francis Stein, III are to the entry on wikipedia, it seems appropriate that the page titled <Charles Stein> refer to one of the other persons of that name, and if necessary that there be a disambiguation page added hereafter. Have submitted a page move request to an administrator since I do not have sufficient priveleges to move this page from its current location to [Charles Francis Stein], which is where (in my opinion, based on my reading of wiki policy) it should eventually reside, since there are very few references indeed to either Charles Francis Stein, II or Charles Francis Stein, I, and since all references to Charles Francis Stein, III invariably use "Charles Francis Stein" to refer to him. Sorry for any confusion, and for any untidiness I have wrought on its edit log also. Best regards, F.Shelley 01:02, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Charles Francis Stein, III → Charles Francis Stein – {Subject is commonly referred to as Charles Francis Stein & is published under that name, hence change is in line w/naming conventions. Charles Francis Stein currently redirects to Charles Francis Stein, III}
