[edit] Separate articles for the explorer and for the monument?

I've added info for the Sergeant Floyd Monument, to what was already there. Now it is getting awkward, perhaps it would be better to separate into two articles, one a biography of the explorer and one about the monument site, a National Historic Landmark. Each article would mention the other of course. It's not urgent though. doncram 03:03, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

This is not understandable for non English speaking natives: "... he would have been no better off had he been with the best physicians of the day." Please improve and deleted this afterwards. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.182.86.74 (talk) 19:10, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
