The Complete Peerage lists as Earl of Devonshire, like the Cavendish Earldom. Since he is not listed under Earl of Devon, which is now held to have existed at the time, this would seem preferable. Septentrionalis 17:25, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

Isn't he actually better known as the 8th Baron Mountjoy? Or is the "titles" NC driving another coach and four through "common names" these days? Alai (talk) 19:44, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
