[edit] Disputed goal

There is some dispute amongst various sources regarding the goals scored England's goals in the match against Wales on 29 March 1886. Most sources credit the goals to George Brann, Fred Dewhurst & Andrew Amos., although some sources claim that Tinsley Lindley scored in this match. The match report at Gibbons, Philip (2001). Association Football in Victorian England - A History of the Game from 1863 to 1900. Upfront Publishing, 86. ISBN 1-84426-035-6.  refers to the scorers as Lindley, Dewhurst & Charles Bambridge, although no further information is available. See Talk:1885-86 in English football for more details. --Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 06:39, 11 February 2008 (UTC)
