[edit] Doubt over credibility

I know this village very well and I believe that the latter part of the article in reference to a devastating storm is not true and that reference is being made to another place. It would be good to have a reference for the information. --Moonlightmouse 01:12, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A village?

Charlcutt was formerly a village with a post office, school, and grocers but it is no longer so. It is, and has been for many many many years a hamlet. It is only made up of some houses and a couple of farms. It does however have a post box and public telephone as described. --Moonlightmouse 01:10, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

I live in Foxham - about 2 miles from Charlcutt - I started the Charlcutt entry with "Charlcutt is a small village in the county of Wiltshire in England". Other users have added the reference to the storm, not me. --Gingell 09:25, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
