[edit] Population of Charikar
The version [1] states that there are 153,500 inhabitans in Charicar in 2006.
This must be an error.
In the statistic from Afghanistan states [2] that there are an est. of 48,100 in urban areas in Parwan.
German wiki tells that there where a population of 34,900 in Charikar in 2003. I've removed the population number from the article. Hogne (talk) 08:35, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- According to AIMS, the population of Charikar District is 133,618, see here. Since Charikar is a big city, we can assume most of that number is from Charikar and that Charikar's population is around 130,000. TheNewPianist (talk) 00:58, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not that sure. From the statistic above there are only 48,200 in urban areas in Parwan, and from the picture at google map Charikar doesn't look like a big city at all. Hogne (talk) 10:28, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
