[edit] Birmingham/dark figure/Roostre

I'm not sure that the dark figure is the same as Birmingham. In 103 Roostre talks about someone named "Muff" who quit something called "Q109". Later in 106 he says that Muff is Birmingham. However, I did not get the impression that he meant the dark figure was Birmingham/Muff. Cornprone 01:17, 7 January 2006 (UTC)

I agree. Perhaps Birmingham and the dark figure should have seperate entries, with a note that there is some speculation that they are one and the same. (Although, personally, I disagree with that speculation. There's just no firm connection between them.) 24.217.231.1 06:34, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

My first major correction here at wikipedia, I seperated The Dark Figure from Birmingham. Dunno how good of a job I did, but I tried.

I don't know why KingTom says that Muff's official name is Mug, but it's clear listening to the show that they're saying Muff. I'm changing it back until you can cite a source for that. 24.217.231.1 08:03, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Rewrite

This article is comprehensive, but reads like a fan site rather than a Wikipedia entry. The captions in particular are in the wrong tone. I am planning a major rehaul of this page, which might involve rewriting large sections of text and cutting parts out completely. If anybody has any objections or suggestions, voice them here. Ta. Well, I'm sure there have been many long and inconclusive discussions about where to draw the line between Wikipedia and a fansite. It seems to me many other articles about works of fiction on wikipedia go into the same level of detail as this article. If you want to change the tone to sound more scholarly, I'd be all for that. But I wouldn't want to see large portions of the information deleted. 24.25.237.15 02:31, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
The above text was me by the way, just forgot to log in. Also wanted to add, I'd be in favor of removing some parts of the character descriptions that go too far into recapping events from certain episodes, since a separate Episodes article exists anyway.Cornprone 02:39, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
It's the tone of the article that needs changing, if anything. Look at the captions - it's just not how an encyclopedia is supposed to read. WMarsh 11:23, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
The captions I do believe are quotes from other characters, I do believe. So you can do something with them, like put them in the characters description, in quotes and say who they are from..? N1person 21:28, 8 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Man/Woman

Maybe worth mentioning that Man/Woman was also the voice of the original "Watch of Die" commercials before the show originally aired?

[edit] Pointed toe?

What about Pointed Toe, hidden in frame #930 of episode 7?

[edit] Don't You Get It?

There is a lot of good info here, though much of it needs to be cleaned up. However, it also seems that we seem to be missing a lot of the key points to this series. Most of the points made here are obvious and don't help to give the reader much insight, though, perhaps it is better to allow the viewer/reader to make up their own minds about the many signs and messages hidden within the plot and dialogue...? Nevertheless, I suggest that this page contain some sort of warning to the reader about possible biases and a lack of information. It is good to have a page like this, albeit it under-developed and narrow in scope. I suggest that we keep this article open, while editing it for NPOV until the entire series comes out (as it is my belief that many of the signs and scenes will not become comrehensible until all is revealed.) [edit] Original Research

OK, now that the series is over (as far as we know) I'm going to start culling this article of theories and leaving only the essential facts for each character. --Cornprone 23:36, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
