[edit] Hangon
The reason I created the article is so that it may focus on the Chaotic trading card game specifically, as well as provide the information on the rules and background of the game. I am sorry if I can't meet the standards for an average article as I only can provide raw information with only mediocre organization. Also, there aren't many "good" sources for this game. If anyone please help me on improving this article!Worlder 17:11, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] OKAY more npov
I'll add a critism section for the moment, to even it out a bit. There is a bit of cristism.
But it can be rewritten, it just takes time. And what do you expect if it's an actual product that people sell; you have to give the reasons why people like it don't you. But I suppose it may seem a bit biased, if there were more people contributing maybe it could be more NPOV. 77.99.107.117 15:10, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
So you don't think that the Magic: the Gathering or Pokemon Trading Card Game articles are biased or advertising?77.99.107.117 15:13, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Online Game Infobox
I think it should be added as Chaotic is an online game, and that's a major part of it. Though, it'd be better in the Online Game section, so I'll add it there, people who want information on the Online Game would want to look at it. I'm not sure why it was unneccesary, but it does look awkward where it was before.TheDalek 01:50, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Evening. I'm here to mention about the bits that are going on. I'm in the game myself and so far the game itself is starting simple and quick to the point.
In beta testing, it's so far 1 creature against 1 creature to test the system before applying mugic and locations. They also let battle gear slide too. and where I saw one of the latest ones there it was covered with a kind of image that blocked out the card itself with a chaotic, enter the game, image on it.
1.) I think they're trying to make sure that the game itself works with simplistic programs to keep slow.
2.) there are still images they have need to put up so they can properly be shown.
3.) they are still constructing the website where all the games happen so updates will be given out to each player.
I wish to have this left up here so that people can understand the current changes, edits, fix ups, and programming that they are working on. Basically they just wanted to get the players started on the game. It must be a really complicated game to go through all this. Mialover730 09:51, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Update: So far no sign of any updates. They fixed the problem with baron beyond's avatar not showing and lately the other cards are set up. It is still in the 1 vs 1 stage and no mugic or location selections have been made yet. They just ran into some snags so far so they are clearing it up after the thanks giving fiasco with the workers on days off. Least it's working. Mialover730 (talk) 12:42, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
Update: They're finally moving to the 3v3 in beta testing today. I'm more welcome to announce they are working on the way it shall be constructed. Ponderously, the construct deck section has yet to properly set up a way of using 3 creatures in an army yet. This is a first to use and figure, thusly telling that things will be QUITE interesting to see how they figure THIS problem out. See ya soon on further beta testing information. Update: More news from your beta tester in the game. Seems like they started using locations in the games. I been noticing a problem with the Chaotic pad with the difference between auto fights and normal challenges made. Maybe they're gonna work on what happens that's making the games freeze up by accident soon. Beta testing is going well, trading system is going fine, and Cards are being sent out to only select few places on the US map. I don't have cards like that on my block so I'm out of luck on collecting new cards. I still move on with electronic cards though.
But it brings up an INTERESTING question. If you have the card AND the electronic card of it, then what would happen if you kept the normal card but not the electronic card, or the electronic card but not the real card? Would make things PRETTY hard to keep track of your real life and online collection. So I forgot to mention they have a collection section on the website to help ya keep track of what ya have and what ya need. My advice, get attack cards and creatures that properly match together for a strategy... More news later on when the scene developes. Mialover730 (talk) 16:57, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Removed reference?
A reference to http://www.chaoticgameplus.com/chaotic_blog_07_06_24_informationsheet.htm was removed. (diff) Was this intentional? If it was why? That site is still there and contains information backing up the claims made in the article. --Ⓔfitu (Ⓣalk) 06:31, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Consider on-line play as if it was still in Beta
Perhaps it should be mentioned that the on-line site is extremely buggy right now, especially when trying to build an army. Cards constantly get lost or the system does not allow them to be placed into the army or playmat, due to bugs. Fortunatelly, such losses are temporary and an exit/re-enter resolves the issue. Also, the fact that cards need to be dragged one at a time to create an army in a very laborious fashion makes this a long and drawn out process. In all, army formation should have been integrated into the Chaotic Pad, instead of forcing players to do it on the web site. That combined with the pad's inability to automatically log-in each time it is launched, makes the whole thing a royal pain.
On top of all of this, for those of us running the pad or using the web site on a high resolution monitor, the inability to zoom/scale the window make it very difficult to see card detail and symbols, even after zooming in on a card. 24.13.203.238 (talk) 14:30, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
