This page ought to be protected, IMO. Too many people are reading the Cliffs Notes version of Crowder's October 2007 quote about London and England and Europe in general and assuming that he's some sort of lunkhead, without bothering to dig deeper into his past or figure out if he was joking (all evidence points to the fact that he's rather intelligent and that he was, in fact, pulling the leg of local reporters on the quote). I see this page very quickly turning into another Chuck Bresnahan. Shapu 14:51, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Exactly right. He's a smart guy and he was joking around as he so often does.►Chris NelsonHolla! 16:43, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

I sure hope you two are right. It sure would be a black mark on the University of Florida. Rgshotswell —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.15.218.162 (talk) 00:25, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Crowder had a 3.5 at UF and graduated early. He was a member of the National Honors Society and got a 30 on the Wonderlic. He is not stupid by any stretch of the imagination. He was kidding, and even thought it should be obvious it got blown way out of proportion.►Chris NelsonHolla! 00:30, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
