[edit] Problems...

Does anyone think that we could move this page to Chandra (diety) and make the Chandra page a redirect to Chandra (disambiguation)? I know that I've looked for the Chandra telescope without knowing its full formal name and have found this page instead. It could be frustrating. And with all the other meanings... 66.213.14.17 18:41, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

I won't mind. The moon god might slightly be more notable than the satellite because there are plenty of Hindus and not as many astronomers but there are other references to Chandra so it may be best to disambig it. GizzaDiscuss © 02:07, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The Banished God

I know there is a story in one of the scriptures about Lord Brahma banishing Somdev to the outer atmosphere for the crime of getting all the Devas intoxicated, and later scholars interpreting this story as symbolic of the banning of liquor for Brahmins, but I can't remember where I read it. Anyone else come accross this? I think it should be in the article but I can't source it with the resources at my disposal. AaronCarson (talk) 16:57, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
