If anyone from Chamarajanagar district is out there...I want to write about the BR Hills, the Soliga, and Kollegal mostly. I started on the whole district because that must be done first. Please and pretty please add in information as you have it. The Wikipedia is about cooperative addition to form a free body of knowledge.

Two quibblles with this article. I was just in Martalli, near Nal Road in the old Kollegal taluk. This article implies that the Hannur taluk is in existence, but according to my brother-in-law, who is in the Martalli panchayat, the Hannur taluk is not yet functioning. Martalli panchayat still works with the Kollegal taluk.
