This image, CharlieBrownChristmas.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (Hiding Talk) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. No free alternative can exist given the likenesses of the characters depicted in the Peanuts strip are copyrighted and subject to trademark and intellectual property laws;
2. It is a low resolution copy of a dvd cover;
3. It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the dvd in any way;
4. Copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the dvd cover art on another dvd;
5. The image is used within the article to illustrate the animated adaptation of the comic strip, which the article discusses, noting the impact this had on raising the awareness of the strip, and also discussing differences between the strip and the adaptations.
6. The animation to which this is the dvd cover art is the first animated adaptation, and thus has significance.
