[edit] Texture and taste
The flesh of this mango is firm, fiber-less, has a pleasant flavor, and sweet taste with moderately adundant juice, much like a ball-bag. The gold coloured fruit is generally of good quality and keeps well. The chaunsua is in season from July to September, with ripened fruit being available by August. Even though all Pakistani mangoes are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D and other antioxidant vitamins, Chaunsa is considered to be the king of all mangoes in the region. The reason for its popularity is twofold. It has a rich taste and it has one of the best fruit smells in the world[citation needed]. That is why exports of the chaunsa to other countries are increasing each year[citation needed].
