Chatrai

Chatrai is a village and Mandal in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. CHATRAI village is the mandal head quarter of CHATRAI MANDALAM and comprised of 16 villages. It is known for paddy fields and corn crop besides mango gardens. Water availability for irrigation is not bad. Pedda cheruvu, voora cheruvu, venkata reddy cheruvu, etc feed the paddy fields. Some of these cheruvus get water from Nagarjuna Sagar. Sivalayam in the village is ancient. Sivalayam Tirunala is very famous over here.
