Chatham Town are an English Association Football club, based in Chatham, Kent. They currently play in the Isthmian League First Division North and are nicknamed "The Chats".

Premier League clubs Portsmouth and West Ham United played their first ever league matches against Chatham.

  • 1900-01 - Resigned after 10 matches and record (10-1-2-7-6-32-4) expunged
  • 1920-21 - Rejoined Southern League, English Section

  • 1927-28 - Rejoined Southern League
  • 1929 - Left Southern League
  • 1959 - Kent League disbanded
  • 1964-65 - Joined Metropolitan League
  • 1968-69 - Joined Kent League
  • 1971-72 - Kent League Champions on goal average despite leaving 2 games unplayed
  • 1973-74 - Kent League Champions (2nd time)
  • 1974 - Changed name to Medway
  • 1974-75 - Kent League runner-up
  • 1979 - Name reverted to Chatham Town
