Chatburn Railway Station was a railway station serving the small village of Chatburn in Lancashire.
[edit] History
It was opened by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. The station closed to passengers in the 1960s by Dr Beeching.
Chatburn station also boasted its own goods depot. Sidings, and a large goods shed were prominent, however now, the depot is just an industrial estate and petrol warehouse. The large goods shed is still standing, but is now being used as a vehicle repair shop.
The main station building is now a private house, like the station building at Dent.
