Chase Stanley (born 31 May 1989 in Sydney, New South Wales) is a professional rugby league player in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition, who plays for the St George Illawarra Dragons. His position of choice is centre, he can also operate on the wing and in 2008 played in the back-row.[1]

Stanley attended Endeavour Sports High School from age 12-18, a school widely re-known as the one of the most dominant and successful high school rugby league teams in Australia having won the Arrive Alive Cup (The country's top Rugby League Knockout Competition for High Schools) 3 times in the last 5 years having won in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

In 2005 he was contracted to the St George Illawarra Dragons as a junior and continued to play there in the 2nd tier competitions till he debuted on the NRL in 2007.

Stanley made his international rugby league debut for the New Zealand Kiwis in their third Test against the Great Britain Lions in November, 2007. Stanley is one of the famous increasing 'Stanley' Rugby Clan - which include 'Smokin' Joe (All Black World Cup Winner 1987, Auckland), Jeremy (All Black 1997, Auckland),Benson (Auckland Blues Super 14 2008) Winston (NZ U19 World Cup Winner 2007,Auckland), Martin (Auckland), Ben (Bedford 2006,Eng) Michael (Saracens & England Under 20's 2008), & Sam (Saracens & England U16's 2008). Although the Kiwis lost to Great Britain, Stanley had a personally successful debut, scoring two tries.[2]
