Chartwell Seniors Housing REIT (TSX: CSH) is a real estate investment trust in Canada that was founded in 1999. It operates seniors housing properties in six of Canada's provinces and four in the United States. The company owns a total of 177 facilities with 22,481 suites as of June 1, 2007. Of these facilities, managed rathered than owned & managed homes are not included and neither are the many properties under current development. Chartwell REIT is Canada's largest senior's housing REIT. [1]
