Charters Towers State High School is a high school in Charters Towers in northern Queensland, Australia.
Charters Towers State High School or CTSHS for short is the only public high school in Charters. The school has been around for over 100 years so it is one of the first schools in Charters Towers. Located in the middle of Charters Towers on School St. The main colour for CTSHS is Maroon with white. It has a population of about 550 students and over 40 teachers.
Current principal Peter Crow has been principal for quite a few years and going on. The school is made up of many activities and sports. CTSHS is known for its sports and high education in students. Like any other school it has an oval, classes trophy case, lunch area and other.
