- The Arboretum: along Pineville-Matthews Road
- Ballantyne: Upscale Area, along the NC/SC border
- Biddleville: western Charlotte along Beatties Ford Road
- Cotswold: intersection of Randolph and Sharon Amity roads
- Derita: north of I-85 along West Sugar Creek Road
- Dilworth: southwest of Uptown
- Eastland: large portion of eastern Charlotte
- Elizabeth: along Elizabeth Avenue
- Highland Creek: University Area
- South End: directly south of Uptown
- Myers Park: south of South End
- Nations Ford: southwestern Charlotte, near Steele Creek
- NoDa: Arts District, around North Davidson Street
- North Charlotte: northeast of Uptown
- Paw Creek: "Tank town", located in western Mecklenburg County bordering Gaston County
- Plaza-Midwood: east of Uptown and along The Plaza
- Quail Hollow: South of Dilworth, in between SouthPark and Pineville.
- Sedgefield: south of Dilworth[2]
- Sherwood Forest: between N. Sharon Amity Rd. and Sardis Rd.
- SouthPark: intersection of Sharon Road and Fairview Road (Includes Morrocroft and Foxcroft)
- Starmount: South Boulevard area
- Steele Creek: southwestern Mecklenburg, including Charlotte
- University City: extreme northeast around UNC Charlotte
- Uptown/Downtown: central business district composed of first four wards
