Charlotte Plaza is a 338 feet (103 m) tall skyscraper in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was bult in 1982 and has 27 floors. It is the 12th tallest building in the city. The Tower Club, which serves as both a restaurant and athletic club, is located on the top floor. The Class A office building was sold for $175.5 million to Hines in 2007. It was closed from September 16th to Septemer 24th in 2007 after an abandoned and hidden condenser water line ruptured and the water shorted out parts of the electrical system.
