Charlotte Glennie is the award-winning New Zealand journalist, who used to be the Asia correspondent for ONE News by Television New Zealand. She will be remembered for her coverage of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and the tsunami that followed.
In 2006, due to budget blow-outs in the ONE News rejuvenation they closed down the ONE news asia bureau and offered Charlotte work in New Zealand. She refused, saying that she wanted to remain working as a journalist in Asia.
Charlotte is currently living in Beijing as the China correspondent for Australia's ABC News in Asia.
