The Charlotte County Motorsports Park (originally Charlotte County Speedway) is an asphalt, 3/8th mile racetrack located in Punta Gorda, Florida, United States. It plays host to late model, super stock, open wheeled modified, and several other types of racing. The track is owned and operated by LeRoy Davidson.
The track was mostly destroyed in the wrath of Hurricane Charley in 2004, but was rebuilt and reopened in 2005. It has had some problems finding racers and attracting crowds, but continues to run strong. The track hosts enduro races on Labor Day weekend and New Years Eve. Fan participation and schoolbus racing also takes place from time to time.
New management took over the track for the 2007 season. Many improvements have been made and many more are planned.
