Charlotte Irene Caffey (born 21 October 1953 in Santa Monica, California) is an American rock and roll guitarist and songwriter, best known for her work in the Go-Go's in the 1980s, including writing "We Got the Beat".
She remained friends with fellow band member Belinda Carlisle. From 1988 till 1992, she led her own band, The Graces, with Meredith Brooks and Gia Ciambotti, who released a 1989 album, A Perfect View. Caffey also co-wrote the theme song to the television series, Clueless, with Anna Waronker.

She is also in Ze Malibu Kids with her husband; the Redd Kross singer and guitarist, Jeff McDonald. She was third from the top of 13 children. Her mother was Ann Caffey and father Michael Caffey, who was a famous Televison director from the mid 60's on into the 90's. Charlotte semi-retired in the late 1980s because of a crippling carpal tunnel syndrome*.[1] Her brother Tom Caffey is also involved in the music world composing for films, his most recent work was the trailer for 10,000 BC
- "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome" is what their publicist said she had to hide the fact that she was having troubles with the drug heroin, which is now common knowledge.
