[edit] Character Information

Charlotte first appeared in 2001 as a trainee doctor, at Northern districts hospital in Yabbie Creek. Charlotte's first major emergency was to tend to Neighbour Jude Lawson, who had crashed on his motorcycle, leaving him in a critical condition. With the help of Former Doctor-turned-Councilor, Flynn Saunders, Charlotte was able to successfully save Jude's life.

After saving Jude's life, Charlotte became friends with Jude's younger Brother, Noah and Seb Miller, who was living them.

Charlotte was in a relationship with fellow Doctor, Steve Kent, who lived in the City and hardly saw him. Steve would constantly suggest that Charlotte, put her grandmother Gladys in a home and move to the city, which Charlotte disagreed.

Despite numerous disagreements over Gladys, Steve proposed and Charlotte accepted. However, that night, things turned ugly resulting in a bruised Charlotte being found sobbing on the stairs by Jude, Noah and Noah's girlfriend, Hayley. This was the end of Steve and Charlotte's engagements

Charlotte later moved in with Sally Fletcher and began helping various bay residents. One of her most notable emergencies was a car crash involving Alex Poulos], Brodie Hanson and Miles Alcott. Charlotte tried to save Miles, but ultimately failed.

After a party to celebrate the end of the HSE, Charlotte and Jude began dating. They went through a few teething troubles but managed to remain steady.

Charlotte was faced with a dilemma she discovered when she was pregnant with twins. She first turned to Flynn for the support she needed, which led to friction between Flynn and Jude. Jude was annoyed that Charlotte had to told Flynn, first as opposed to him and felt that his girlfriends always felt more comfortable talking to Flynn (This was due to the fact Jude's ex, Shauna Bradley made a pass at Flynn several months prior)

After, Noah had moved out to live with Hayley, Jude joined Charlotte at Sally's.

One morning, Charlotte woke up to find her morning sickness had eased. She went to hospital for and ultrasound and found out she had miscarried.

Rhys and Shelley Sutherland, who had miscarried a son 15 years pro, helped Jude and Charlotte through this difficult time and they held a ceremony for the twins on the beach.

When Jude's ex, Shauna returned to Summer Bay, Charlotte was worried whether Jude was faithful. Jude later admitted he was leaving her for Shauna and later left Summer Bay. Charlotte began going into a depression and self-prescribing.

After quitting her job at the hospital after the Registrar, Dr. Carlingford, had verbally chastised her one too many times, Charlotte decided to leave the bay but not before inheriting a tidy some from an elderly patient who had died in her care,

Vinnie Patterson's cousin, Mav, who was visiting the bay at the time, convinced Charlotte that she should come to Vietnam with him and invest some of her money in an orphanage.

On the day Charlotte was scheduled to leave, she decided to take one swim in the ocean. However she was pulled under by a rip and was rescued by lifeguard Josh West. During her last few seconds of consciousness, Charlotte saw a vision of Jude underwater.

Charlotte was then resuscitated and hospitalised. Upon arrival, Charlotte started asking for Jude. Jude returned to Bay, but Charlotte soon died after suffering complications from her near drowning.

After Charlotte's memorial service, Jude discovered that despite their breakup, Charlotte had not changed her will, leaving the money to Jude. Jude decided to invest the money in the orphanage as he felt that was what Charlotte would have wanted.

Charlotte's death had an effect on several other people, Josh who blamed himself for not putting up the right flags, and Jade Sutherland who decided to "live for the moment".
