Charlie Daniels is a professional footballer signed to Tottenham Hotspur F.C., of the English Premier League.
Born in Harlow in 1986 Daniels joined the Tottenham Hotspur youth side and worked his way up through to the reserves before earning his first professional contract in July 2005. He is a versatile player who can play anywhere along the left side of the team. Daniels spent time on loan at Chesterfield F.C. during the 2006-2007 season but unfortunately sustained an injury in only his second game and returned to Spurs. In the summer of 2007 Leyton Orient F.C. boss Martin Ling signed him on loan for the entirety of the 2007-2008 League One season after watching him regularly in the Tottenham reserves.[1]
Following his last game at Leyton Orient Daniels was sent back to Tottenham, where he has a year remaining on his contract. Daniels future is uncertain, however, as he's unlikely to be in the plans of manager Juande Ramos and may have to go back out on loan in 2008-2009 to get first team football and ultimately win himself a contract with a league club.
