Charlie Clements (born 5 June 1987) is an English actor who has played the role of Bradley Branning in the BBC soap opera EastEnders since January 2006.
Clements was born in Sidcup, London. Before joining EastEnders he was studying for his A-levels (which he finished in 2005) and working in the Waitrose supermarket in Bromley South. He attended Coopers Technology College in Chislehurst.
Clements won the best newcomer award at the British Soap Awards in May 2006,[1] 'Best Newcomer' at the 2006 Inside Soap Awards,[2] 'Best Soap Newcomer' at the 2006 TV Quick and TV Choice Awards[3] and 'Most Popular Newcomer' at the National Television Awards on 31 October 2006,[4] all for his role as Bradley Branning. He also won the Best Soap Actor Award at the 2007 TV Quick and TV Choice Awards.
He appeared on documentary F*** Off, I'm Ginger on 29 April 2007.
He is a member of the band The Unknown, and has been since he was in Year 9 when he got his first Squire Stratocaster.[5]
He is a supporter of Charlton Athletic.
