[edit] Plot
Charlie and Lee Chan are in China and a number of confusing and mysterious events follow a murder at a banquet honoring the detective. The Chans are eventually kidnapped by the head of an opium ring. Once they escape, they contact the local authorities, and Charlie works his way through an intricate plot to expose the smugglers.
