Charley Walters

Charles Leonard Walters (born February 21, 1947) was a Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Minnesota Twins in 1969 and is currently a sports columnist and reporter for the Saint Paul Pioneer Press newspaper.

As a baseball player, he was known as "Charlie" and as a journalist spells his first name "Charley". His nickname is "Shooter". Today, the St. Paul local celebrity lives in Mendota Heights with his wife, Paula Kelly, and has three children, Charley Jr., Caitlin, and Kelly Walters.
