The Charleston Police Pipes and Drums is a grade two police pipe band from Charleston, South Carolina. It was founded in 1995, and by 2002 was competing in the grade three Eastern United States Pipe Band Association (EUSPBA). In 2005, the band was the overall EUSPBA grade 3 champion,[1] and was correspondingly promoted to grade two in the 2006 season. The band currently competes in grade two, and has associated bands in grades four and five.[2] In 2007, the band placed third overall in the EUSPBA grade two season.
