Charles Wood, 3rd Earl of Halifax

Charles Edward Peter Neil Wood, 3rd Earl of Halifax (b. 14 March 1944) is a British aristocrat and peer who is grandson of Lord Halifax a former Viceroy of British India and Foreign Secretary who nearly became Prime Minister in 1940. Halifax married the former Camilla Parker Bowles, nee Younger, former sister-in-law to Camilla Parker Bowles and has issue one son and one daughter by her. His only son and heir is James Charles Wood, styled Lord Irwin (b. 24 August 1977).
