Professor Charles W. J. Withers (born December 5, 1954) is professor of historical geography at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Charles Withers was educated at Daniel Stewart's College, in Edinburgh, the University of St Andrews (B.Sc.), and the University of Cambridge (Ph.D.).
