Charles Sydney Smith (January 26, 1879 – April 6, 1951) was a British water polo player who competed as goalkeeper for the British national team in four successive Olympic Games, in 1908, 1912, 1920, and in 1924. The British team ended up winning the first three Olympic tournaments, but lost their first round game in 1924 and finished outside the top four.
