Charles Stuart, F.S.A. was a landscape painter active from 1881 to 1904[1] He was married to Jane Maria Bowkett Stuart (listed in Royal Academy of Arts catalogs as 'Mrs Charles Stuart', and they lived and painted together at 18 Melbury Road, Kensington.[1]
