Charles S. Haight, Jr.

Charles S. Haight, Jr. (b. 1930 in New York, NY) is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Judge Haight received a B.A. from Yale University in 1952 and an LL.B. from in Yale Law School in 1955. He was nominated to the court by Gerald Ford on March 2, 1976, to a seat vacated by Murray I. Gurfein, confirmed by the Senate on March 26, 1976, and received his commission on March 29, 1976. He assumed senior status on September 23, 1995.
